We have a direct license with YouTube that allows general users to create videos with music. We monetize all of our music, which means you’ll see ads pop up on your videos.
YouTube’s license with us does not grant the rights for commercial use of a song in a video. For example, if you want to use a song in your video to sell a product or promote your business you would need to get a license from us.
If you want to use our song in the background of a video where you are lip syncing, or where you are performing the song for your friends, then YouTube’s license will cover that use. Please note that our policies may different from other copyright owners. It is up to you, to do your own research before requesting a license from us to use a song on YouTube.
